Communications

In a surprising turn of events, I found my way back into the world of communications. With a knack for captivating audiences and a love for the element of surprise, I transitioned from conquering towers to conquering the art of effective communication.

It's funny because I use my climbing career as a fun fact or ice breaker during conferences, seminars, or introductions," the individual shared. "I like the element of surprise. It's more fun that way. As a seasoned climber turned communications strategist, I am dedicating my skills to serving those who have served in the Washington Department of Veterans Affairs (WDVA). As a veteran, I understand the unique challenges and experiences my fellow servicemen, women, and veterans face.

With a diverse skill set that includes being a consultant, conversation starter, and change practitioner, I bring a fresh perspective to the communications field. I love every minute of being a communicator. It's a privilege to have the opportunity to make a difference and connect with people on a deeper level.

This transition from climbing to communications is a testament to my adaptability and passion for making a positive impact. My unique background brings a fresh perspective to the field, allowing me to connect with audiences in an engaging and impactful way.

As I continue my journey as a communications strategist, I am excited to explore new opportunities and make a lasting difference in the lives of veterans.
